Ingredients
1/4 cup vegetable broth
2 tbsp dry sherry or Chinese rice wine
2 tbsp thin soy sauce
1 tbsp dark sesame oil
2 tsp corn starch
1/2 tsp sugar
1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper

Combine all ingredients.
