Ingredients

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 1/2 cups White whole wheat flour

1/2 teaspoon sea salt

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 cup Raisins

1 1/2 cups nonfat or low-fat buttermilk

2 tablespoons molasses


Directions

Step 1

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Spray a twelve-cup muffin pan with vegetable cooking spray.

Step 2

In a large bowl, whisk together both flours, salt, and baking soda. Stir in raisins. Make a well in the center.

Step 3

In a liquid measuring cup, mix buttermilk with molasses. Pour into well in dryingredients and stir just until incorporated.

Step 4

Drop dough into prepared muffin cups. Bake until muffins are firm to the touch,about 20 minutes. Serve.
