1 cup maple syrup&lt;br /&gt;

10 2/3 tbsp. butter&lt;br /&gt;

Cook syrup to 236 degrees (soft ball forms when syrup is dripped into ice water).&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;

Add butter and beat with beater until thick and creamy.  Makes about 1 1/2 cups.&lt;br /&gt;
