1 tablespoon Butter, unsalted&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
8 oz Almond paste&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
2 each Large eggs&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
1 1/2 cup Fresh orange juice&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
4 1/2 teaspoon Baking powder&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
1/2 teaspoon Salt&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
2 tablespoon Sugar&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
2 teaspoon Fresh orange peel, grated&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
3 cups all-purpose flour&lt;br /&gt;

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
== Step 2 ==&lt;br /&gt;
Thoroughly grease an 8 1/2 x 4 1/2 inch loaf pan with butter.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
== Step 3 ==&lt;br /&gt;
In a medium bowl, beat almond paste and eggs with an electric mixer on medium speed. Add orange juice, a little at a time, beating until mixture is smooth; set aside.&lt;br /&gt;

In a large bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, salt, sugar, and orange zest to combine. Pour in almond paste mixture. Stir with a wooden spoon or rubber spatula just enough to moisten dry ingredients. Batter should be slightly lumpy. Do not over mix.&lt;br /&gt;

Bake for 50 to 60 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 190 degrees F on an instant-read thermometer, or until the surface is firm and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out dry, with a few crumbs clinging to it.
