2/3 cup orzo, about 4 oz.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
2 tsp. olive oil&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
2 cloves garlic, sliced&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
1/2 tsp. finely chopped lemon peal, yellow part only&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
1/4 cup finely snipped parsley&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
1 tbsp. lemon juice&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
salt and pepper&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
shaved parmesan cheese or other hard cheese&lt;br /&gt;

Cook orzo in lightly salted boiling water for 6-8 minutes or until al dente.  Drain well.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
== Step 2 ==&lt;br /&gt;
Heat olive oil in small skillet.  Cook garlic and lemon peel for about 30 seconds, stirring often.  Set aside.&lt;br /&gt;

== Step 3 ==&lt;br /&gt;
Toss orzo with garlic mixture, parsley and lemon juice.  Add salt and pepper to taste.  Top with cheese shavings.&lt;/div&gt;</summary>
