3/4 cup heavy cream&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
pinch salt&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
6 oz. semi or bitter sweet chocolate, chopped&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
3 tbsp. unsalted butter, chilled&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
1 tsp. vanilla extra&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
2 cups whipped cream&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;

Mix cream and salt in a small sauce pan and bring to a simmer of medium high heat.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
==Step 2==&lt;br /&gt;
Place chocolate in food processor with a steal blade, with the machine running gradually add the cream and process until smooth.  With the machine still running add the butter one tbsp. at a time.  Add the vanilla and continue to process until smooth and thickened.  Transfer to a medium bowl and refrigerate until it has the consistency of soft frosting.&lt;br /&gt;

Reserve 1/2 cup whip cream for garnish.  Scrape the chilled ganache into the bowl with the remaining cream.  Whisk together until smooth.  Spoon into glasses and dollop with whipped cream.  Serve immediately.&lt;/div&gt;</summary>
