Ingredients

18 each wonton wrappers

3 tablespoons hazelnut nutella spread

1 each ripe banana, cut into 18 slices

1 each egg white

1/4 cup vegetable oil

1 dash Confectioners` sugar ( optional garnish)

Directions

Step 1

Lay out wonton wrappers on a work surface and top each with 1/2 teaspoon Nutella and one banana slice. Brush the edges of the wonton wrappers with the egg white, then fold over one side to the other, forming a triangle. Press the edges together firmly and try to press out as much air as possible.

Step 2

In a saute pan with high sides, heat the oil over medium-high heat until sizzling. Working in batches, fry 4 to 5 wontons at a time until golden brown, turning to fry the second side, about 15 to 20 seconds per side. Place on a paper towel-lined plate to absorb excess oil. Serve warm, sprinkled with confectioners' sugar if desired.
